Gemini Strings was founded in 2014 out of the passion from a classically trained violinist who loved arranging modern music for string quartet after college. It has grown into a collective of incredible string players around the area who specialize in styles beyond their classical roots. Gemini Strings now been featured as an artist on BRIDGERTON, Season 4. They now have over 5 million+ streams on Spotify and 400k+ monthly listeners.

The musicians of Gemini Strings are some of the highest trained and most sought after professionals in the industry. They have played and recorded with artists such as the Lady Gaga, Bad Bunny, Panic! At The Disco, Lindsey Stirling, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Ed Sheeran, Adele, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, X Ambassadors,Halsey, Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Earth Wind and Fire and more. In addition, they are all active in the film and television recording/live performance industry working regularly on productions such as on American Idol, The Voice, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel Live,The Oscars, The Emmy's, The Grammy's, and Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale.

Gemini Strings is owned and founded by Laurann Angel, mother of two and professional violinist living in Los Angeles. Laurann graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Violin Performance in 2014. She has performed and recorded with many artists listed above and more. You can hear her arrangement of Birds Of A Feather by Billie Eilish featured on the Netflix hit BRIDGERTON, Season 4. In 2026, Laurann also had the honor of representing the Latina string community by performing alongside Bad Bunny in the Super Bowl LX Half Time show.
